दो दिन बाद, वो अपनी जॉब पर वापिस आ गया पर उसका पहले कि तरह काम मे मन नहीं लगता है। करता कुछ हैं, होता कुछ और है, कहीं बैठ कर दिन भर किसी के बारे मे सोचता हैं, क्या करे उसे कुछ भी समझ नहीं आ रहा है। तब मैंने उसको चिन्तित देखा। उसे इस तरह देख मुझसे रहा नहीं गया। मैंने उससे पूछा, वो इतना उदास क्यों है। उसने मुझसे अब तक का सब हाल कह सुनाया।
मैंने उसे एक सन्देस लिख कर उस नम्बर पर भेजने को कहा। उसने मेरी बात मान ली। उसने सारा के फोन पर एक संदेश भेजा, उसमें लिखा आप कैसे हो? तभी उधर से कॉल आया। अरु ने फोन उठाया उधर से आवाज आयी हैलो। ये आवाज सारा कि थी। अरु ने तुरंत फोन रख दिया। अरु ने कहा भाई मुझे घबराहट हो रही है। मैंने अरु के हाथ से मोबइल ले कर दूसरा संदेश भेजा। लिखा-मैं आप को खोना नहीं चाहता। फिर उसने संदेश भेजा आप कौन है। मैंने जवाब मे लिखा आप मुझे जानती है । उसने लिखा कैसे । मैं आप के घर आया था। आप ने मुझे बुलाया था। आप ने मेरे हाथ मे मेंहदी भी लगायी थी। फिर उसने लिखा मैं आप को पहले से नहीं जानती थी। मैंने तो कोई और समझ कर आप को बुलाया था। फिर मैंने लिखा-तो क्या हुआ आप ने कोई जवाब नहीं दिया अब तक। किस बात का जवाब? उसने लिखा। मैंने कहा-मैंने आप कि शायरी कि बुक मे आप के लिए एक शायरी लिखी है, और उसके नीचे कुछ लिखा है आप ने पढ़ा? उसने लिखा-मेरा संदेश पैक खत्म हो गया कॉल करो। फिर मैंने अरु को मोबाईल देते हुए कहा बात करो।अरु ने काल किया, सारा ने फोन उठाया और कहा हैलो। अरु ने कहा हैलो। फिर उसने कहा बोलो क्या बोल रहे थे? मैं तुम्हें खोना नहीं चाहता अरु ने कहा। वो बोली शायरी के बारे मे क्या बोला। अरु ने जवाब दिया-जो दिल मे है वहीं शायरी मे है। आप ने शायरी तो पढ़ा ना। उसने कहा हा पढ़इ है। जो शायरी के बाद लिखा था उसे पढ़ा आप ने।सारा - हा वो भी पढ़ा। अरु ने कहा फिर देर किस बात कि है, बोल दो जो मैं सुनना चाहता हूँ। सारा ने कहा पहले आप बोलो। अरु ने कहा- एक बार लिखने मे लाखों बार सोचना पड़ा। अब मुझमें हिम्मत नहीं। तुम्हें जो भी बोलना है बोल दो, बस ये सोचना जरूर, कि मैं आप को खोना नहीं चाहता।सारा की आवाज हि नहीं आ रही। अरु ने फिर हैलो कहा फिर दुबारा हैलो कहा।
सारा ने उधर से एक दम जोर से तेज आवाज मे कहा आई लव यू और फोन कट कर दिया। अरु कि जिन्दगी का ये सबसे हसीन लम्हा है। उसकी खुशी का अंदाजा लगाना भी मुश्किल है। वो तो उड़ रहा है। उसके तो चार चाँद लग गए। ऐसा लग रहा है कि दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा काम कर लिया है उसने। अरु ने मुझसे कहा - हा मुझे प्यार हो गया है ऐसा लग रहा है कि पहाड़ पर खड़े होकर सारी दुनिया को बताऊ कि मुझे प्यार हुआ है।इतनी खुशी कैसे मेरे पास आ गई । ये सब मैं क्या सोच रहा हूँ मैंने तो उसे जवाब हि नहीं दिया है। मेरे दोस्त बता अब क्या करुँ?
मैंने कहा कॉल करो, अपने प्यार का इजहार करो। अरु ने कॉल किया, सारा ने फोन उठाया और हैलो कहा। अरु ने तुरंत देर किये बिना आई लव यू कहा। फिर सारा ने भी आई लव यू कहा। फिर बात को आगे बढ़ाते हुए एक दूसरे के बारे मे बताने लगे। एक दूसरे के बारे मे जानने लगे। और एक खास बात हर एक या दो मिनट मे वो एक दूसरे को आई लव यू बोलते है। फिर इस तरह से उनके प्यार कि सुरुवात हो गई । अब वो हर दिन बात करते है ।बात करना और बस बात करना। अरु ने कभी भी सारा ये नहीं पूछा कि वो लंगड़ी कैसे हुई या जन्म से है। पूछता भी कैसे? उसे लगाता है कि कहीं वो अरु को गलत ना समझ ले। ना तो अरु ने सारा को बताया कि, उसने अभी तक सारा का चेहरा भी नहीं देखा। इसलिए नहीं बताया क्यूँकि कहीं सारा उसपर हसे ना। इसी तरह कुछ दिन बीत गए फिर उन्होंने मिलने का सोचा और समय तय हुआ, सारा के जन्म दिन पर क्योकि उसके जन्म दिन वाले दिन हि होलीका पूजन होने वाला है। इस बार उसके लिए ये खास पल होगा और अरु के जाने से ये खास पल और भी खास हो जाएगा। उनके बीच तय हुआ कि इस बार सबसे पहले वो दोनों एक दूसरे को रंग लगाएंगे फिर हि दूसरों के साथ होली खेलेंगे।
